Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG).

ACH Child and Family Services facilitates the Tarrant County Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG). CRCG provides a mechanism for local, public and private agencies, organizations, and families to work together in collaboration to meet the needs of children and youth, ages birth to 22, involved in multiple service delivery systems.

The Tarrant County CRCG is composed of representatives from human service organizations in Tarrant County serving families with children who have severe emotional disorders or other disabilities. Situations are presented at CRCG meetings for families whose needs can be met only through interagency coordination and cooperation. CRCG members combine their agency resources and knowledge to suggest treatment alternatives and to problem-solve these difficult situations.

To contact the CRCG Coordinator and receive an application to have a child or youth staffed at a CRCG meeting, please email CRCG@allchurchhome.org or call 817.886.7177 and leave your contact information for the CRCG Coordinator.

Family Based Safety Services.

The purpose of the Child Protective Services (CPS) program of Family Based Safety Services (FBSS) is to protect children and to act in the children’s best interest. FBSS focuses on children and their families and seeks active involvement of the children’s parents and other family members to solve problems that lead to abuse or neglect. The objectives are to:

  • Prevent further harm to children and to keep children with their families when possible.
  • Provide permanence for children to their families.
  • Provide permanence for children who cannot return to their families.
  • Help families reduce the risk of abuse or neglect.

Family Group Conference.

  • Empowering families to make healthy decisions for the safety of their children today and tomorrow.
  • A Family Group Conference is a voluntary opportunity for family members, friends and service providers to come together to make decisions about the care, placement and future of the child that is currently involved with Child Protective Services (CPS).
  • ACH staff coordinates conference details including the time and place of the conference.
  • As a neutral, unbiased moderator, ACH staff facilitates the conference, ensuring all participants are provided the opportunity to contribute during the conference.
  • Provide family members a time to themselves - without the presence of CPS - to come up with a “family plan” that meets the family’s needs and also ensures the protection and safety of the child.
