12/02/11 ACH receives grant award from Speedway Children's Charities PDF  | Print |  E-mail
ACH is proud to announce that we received a grant award from Speedway Children’s Charities at Texas Motor Speedway in the amount of $10,000! These funds will be used for our Emergency Youth Shelter, which offers homeless and runaway youth, ages 10-17, emergency housing and care while ACH works to reunite them with their families, or find safe and meaningful alternative living arrangements. The check was presented to ACH at Speedway’s Tree Lighting on Tuesday, November 29, where the children from our Behavioral Care Program all received new bikes. These children were so excited to be given brand new bikes and couldn’t wait to try them out! Thank you Speedway Children’s Charities for your generosity and for always thinking of our children!
