Skill Builder Classes.

Skill Builder Classes help youth and parents make better choices and enhance relationships. Classes consist of five to eight sessions that are offered at no cost at various times in convenient community locations.

First Offenders Program
Helps youth make better choices and avoid future illegal activity by increasing their knowledge of the law, anger management, and life skills

Anger Management
Helps youth understand anger, how to control it and how it may play a role in conflicts with their families, schools and others

WhyTry
Helps youth overcome challenges in order to make improvements in truancy, behavior and academics

Safe Dates
Helps youth recognize healthy and abusive relationships by addressing attitudes and behaviors associated with dating

Raising Resilient Youth
Helps families examine and enhance their family strengths and their ability to develop and implement expectations and consequences with their children

Parenting Wisely
A self-administered, computer-based program that teaches parents and their children important skills to enhance relationships and decrease conflict through behavior management and support

 eligibility criteria.*

  • Youth is 0-17 years of age
  • Youth is not on formal probation
  • Youth does not have an open Child Protective Services (CPS) case
