Home Improvements Capital Campaign for the Wichita Street Campus.ACH Child and Family Services launched the Home Improvements Capital Campaign in 2009 after accepting 19.5 acres donated by philanthropists Valerie and Michael Mallick. The renovation of the nine buildings on the southeast Fort Worth property will allow ACH to combine and relocate its two downtown campuses. Ultimately, the new Wichita Street Campus will enable ACH to expand its programs and serve up to 450 more children a year. The campaign is chaired by Julie and Glenn Davidson of Fort Worth. Congresswoman Kay Granger serves as Honorary Chair of the campaign. A steering committee comprised of local community and business leaders has been working hard to raise the $9.5 million campaign goal. To date, $8.1 million has been raised, and three buildings on the campus have been renovated and are now operational.
Belltower Chapel & Garden. In 2008, ACH received a generous gift of 19.5 acres with nine buildings located in Fort Worth. One of those buildings was the Chapel, which ACH finished renovating in November 2009. This historic 1920s cast stone chapel and reception hall seats up to 200 and is the picture-perfect indoor or outdoor setting for special events and occasions. visit the website... |
