holiday season giving and serving program.ie211007

Join us in helping our most vulnerable children and their families.

Each year, ACH provides services to almost 4,000 of North Texas’ most vulnerable children and their families. The holiday season can be an especially difficult time for them. Help brighten the holidays, and make a difference in the lives of those in need by lending a helping hand during the holiday season.

You can help this season in a variety of ways:

be an ACH holiday volunteer.

This is a great opportunity for you to help make the holiday season special for the children we serve. To volunteer, please contact Sarah Tiemann at stiemann@ACHservices.org or 682.432.1131.

become an ACH Angel – adopt a child or group of children.

donate Christmas wrapping paper and ribbon.

Christmas gifts come to us unwrapped, so we work as hard as Santa’s Elves to get them all wrapped to go under the tree before December 25, but we are in need of wrapping paper! Please consider sending us some festive paper and ribbon, or bringing some in when you deliver your donated gifts!

gift card program.

Many of our parents would like to purchase gifts for their children, but do not have the resources. With a gift card to a local store (Walmart, Target, Best Buy, etc.), they can experience the joy of giving to their children.

make a financial contribution.

You can make a personal donation, or you can raise donations in your workplace for the holiday giving program, insuring that every child and family is included in the magic of the season.

Please do not wrap gifts. Gift bags and wrapping supplies are appreciated. Items may be delivered to ACH on December 14 through December 16 at 1424 Summit Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76102. Please follow the signs to Building A at the corner of Summit Avenue and El Paso Street. Please call before arriving so that we can assist you. Pickup can be arranged for large items/donations.

All gifts and supplies should be delivered to ACH by December 16 to allow for sorting and distribution to our children and families the following week.

For more information about any of the above opportunities, please contact the Development Department at 682.432.1054 or hbessinger@ACHservices.org.
